We remember the feeling on this particular day being a rather sombre one. The Ferrari crew, consisting of two Japanese dentists, had died on 24 May 1994, whilst participating in the race, killing two officials. Both officials were good mates.

The car threw a tail shaft doing in excess of 180kph just north of Elliot.
Of the 118 entrants, the PDF will tell you above that 100 completed the race.
